Hello! My name is Regan Bakke, and I am teaching fourth grade this year at SkyView. This past spring, I graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Elementary Education, so this is my first year teaching (yay!). I am originally from Denver and love to ski and hike. I am overjoyed to join the SkyView family!

I have been teaching at SkyView since the school opened in August 2010. I truly love SVA and am thankful to work with such a great team and wonderful families.
When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family! My husband and I live in Highlands Ranch and have twins who will be in sixth grade this year! We also have three dogs who are very loved and spoiled 🙂 Our favorite spot to spend time is in Grand Lake! We enjoy the calm, small mountain town and spending time on the water! It is beautiful. I love reading fiction and historical fiction books, gardening, and sitting outside on our patio!

I attended Missouri State University, where I received a Secondary English Education and TESOL degree and met my amazing husband of 20+ years. We have lived in many places with our two daughters and most recently moved from Seattle, where I was a freelance writer and substitute teacher. I grew up in East Africa, where I developed a love for different cultures and travel. My favorite thing to do is explore international locations with my family and eat all the local delicacies. When we can't visit other countries, I enjoy being in the mountains, gardening, exploring local areas, and spending time creating and experiencing community.

My family has been part of the Skyview family for 8 years now, as I have two beautiful daughters, Reagan and Georgia, who attend here. This is my third year as Kindergarten ISP, and I love helping and having fun with the kindergarteners and supporting our amazing Kindergarten teachers. In my pre-kids life, I was a content creator and buyer for online retailers. I have also started my own little business doing freelance writing and a gift printing business. When I am not spending time with them or driving them around, I also love to craft, cook, play games, and read.

I was born and raised in Colorado. I have been married for 16 years and have two beautiful children who also attend SkyView. I had the privilege of attending school for my Bachelor’s Degree in Honolulu, Hawaii; Long Island, New York; and Lugano, Switzerland. I received my Master’s Degree and Teaching License her at CU Denver. I love my line of work and feel blessed every day that I get to come to school and work with the amazing kids and staff.

Hello, SVA community. I am entering my 11th year at SVA and my 14th year teaching overall. My first 7 years at SVA were spent teaching 8th grade history, and I loved teaching history. I then transitioned to MS Dean. This year, I will be the MS Assistant Principal. I look forward to serving the community, students, and teachers.
My wife also teaches in the middle school, and my son is in 5th grade at SVA. So, I am very invested in SVA's growth and success.
I love the outdoors and sports. I spend most of my summer camping and fishing. I am also an avid reader, and I love movies.

I have enjoyed teaching 6th-grade social studies since 2016 at SVA. The SVA community is a large part of the Bow Family. My husband is also a member of the staff and our son attends school here. I coach and compete in Artistic Swimming, formally known as Synchronized Swimming. My educational background consists of a degree in History with a secondary teaching license. I love teaching middle school, I taught eighth grade prior to coming to SVA. In 2021 I took on the role of history department chair.

I’m Mrs. Brackney! This is my fifth year at SVA and my fourteenth year of teaching. I’m very excited to teach 2nd again this year. I love teaching 2nd graders because they are full of wonder, love, and hilarious stories! I’ve lived in Colorado for eight years. I moved here from Utah when I married a wonderful man who is also a (history) teacher. We have a sweet little girl named EmJ who loves people and makes everything fun!

I am a Colorado native. After graduating High School, I joined the Marine Corps and served as Military Police for 4 years in Japan, California, and on a combat tour in Iraq. I transferred from the Corps to the Army National Guard and pursued a degree in History and a Secondary Teaching Certificate from the University of Northern Colorado. I've been at SVA for a full decade. My wife teaches at SVA, and we have a daughter who is attending pre-K here as well.

I am the Nurse for SVA! The healthcare team manages the medical, health, and safety needs of the SVA community. I consult and partner with SVA to provide nurse services. I am a Nationally Certified School Nurse and Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in primary care. I am married with two adult children, and in my free time, I enjoy horses, camping, kayaking, decorating, country dancing, and all things family, friends, and Colorado!

I love all things music, sports, and traveling any chance I get.

¡Hola! I am Miss Bybee, and I have the pleasure of teaching Spanish in the Middle School. I am a native Spanish and Portuguese speaker; therefore, I am highly qualified to teach this language. I studied at The University of Colorado and received a bachelor's degree. This will be my 8th year at SkyView. I could not be more excited to be part of this school and community. I love spending my days practicing one of my native languages with my students and learning about different cultures. After school, you will find me spending time with my dogs, doing a lot of yoga, and hiking. Go Hawks!
