SVA Theater presents the Middle School One Act Plays, This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing and Game of Tiaras: This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing: Three young sisters are left in a forest by their woodcutter father and forced to find their own way in the world. From this fairytale beginning, three resolutions are made — one sister walks one way to find purpose, one the other to find adventure, and the third stays right where she is to create a home. Years later, having circumnavigated the globe, fought vikings, crossed oceans, tamed wilds, and achieved greatness, the three sisters meet again, as women.
Game of Tiaras: When the aging king of a Magical Kingdom decides to split his empire between his three daughters, Cinderella, Belle, and the Snow Queen (who in no way resembles a copyrighted character), terrible, hilarious tragedy ensues. Combining the plot twists of Game of Thrones and the despair of a Shakespearean tragedy, this adaptation of King Lear will leave you dying with laughter as the body count mounts. When you play the Game of Tiaras, you win or you die.
