¡Hola! I am Señora Langton, and I am going to be teaching Elementary Spanish at SkyView. I am so excited to share my love of the Spanish language with my students. My family is from Ecuador, South America and Spanish was my first language. I have been fortunate enough to have made many foreign trips to learn about many different cultures. Learning a new language can be intimidating, but I believe that my enthusiastic, cultural approach to teaching Spanish will help students to acquire language skills in a manner that keeps them interested and motivated. I can not wait to meet my new students!

In my spare time, I am also SkyView Academy's Varsity Head Basketball Coach. I enjoy watching Colorado Sports (especially the Denver Broncos) and hanging out with my wife and our new daughter. SkyView Academy is a wonderful place for students to grow as honorable leaders and life-long learners. I have and continue to enjoy building a rapport with our SVA student population!

I am so excited to be a part of the SVA community as the Health Assistant/Volunteer Coordinator. I have two students at SVA who have found a place they belong. I have a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Chapman University/New York University and have found my passion for working with children. My husband and I are Colorado natives, but I'll never turn down a beach getaway. I love comedy and laughing way too hard at anything funny. My kids say I'm more of a kid than they are. They're not wrong.

I love SVA! I have been part of the SVA family since 2010. I have the great privilege of teaching Spanish to a variety of grade levels. I have taught Spanish for over 20 years. As a native of México I love to share not only my language but the culture that surrounds the whole of Latin America. Outside of SVA I spend my time with family and friends enjoying life by doing all my favorite things: dancing, eating, napping, reading, hiking, running, walking, game nights, movie nights, listening to Latin music and perfecting my snickerdoodle recipe 🙂
