I am so excited to be a part of the SVA community as the Health Assistant/Volunteer Coordinator. I have two elementary students at SVA who have found a place they feel they belong. I have a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Chapman University/New York University and have found my passion working with children. My husband and I are Colorado natives but I'll never turn down a beach getaway. I love comedy and laughing way too hard at anything funny. My kids say I'm more of a kid than they are. They're not wrong.

Do you remember your favorite picture book growing up?? My favorite was The Poky Little Puppy by Janette Sebring Lowrey. My hope is to instill the love of reading in our students to make them lifelong readers. This will be my 9th year at SkyView Academy. I am married to my husband Bob and we recently celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary. We have 2 grown children and a dog named Rossi. We have lived in Highlands Ranch for 27 years.

Theresa Linne earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado and has been the Director of Business Operations for Reliant Global Solutions, a Government contracting company, since 2012. With more than 20 years of experience in progressively responsible management positions, Theresa specializes in identifying areas of improvement and introducing measures to cut costs and improve operational efficiency. Theresa enjoys working in a collaborative environment, believing that the best solutions are most often achieved when numerous perspectives and opinions are given thoughtful consideration.
Theresa is originally from Detroit, MI but relocated to Colorado in 2006 after visiting Denver and falling in love with the sunshine and mountains. Theresa is married and has one daughter who attends 4th grade at SVA. In her free time, Theresa enjoys yoga, traveling and supporting various local dog rescues through fostering pups (having recently “foster-failed” with a senior, disabled Chihuahua named ‘Edith”). Theresa enjoys volunteering at SkyView Academy and has been an active member of the School Academic Accountability Committee (SAAC) for the past three years. Prior to COVID, Theresa’s favorite SVA volunteer opportunity was the role of “Room Mom” to plan/host classroom parties and provide classroom support to the homeroom teacher.
This my first year at Sky View Academy and Colorado and am excited to be here. As someone who has spent over a decade learning Latin, I am happy to have to opportunity to share my love of the language with students. I enjoy the opportunity Latin gives as a window into an ancient and foreign culture and how, by looking at this culture, we can reflect on our own. When my heads not in a book, you can find me in the mountains!

I love SVA! I have been part of the SVA family since 2010. I have the great privilege of teaching Spanish to a variety of grade levels. I have taught Spanish for over 20 years. As a native of México I love to share not only my language but the culture that surrounds the whole of Latin America. Outside of SVA I spend my time with family and friends enjoying life by doing all my favorite things: dancing, eating, napping, reading, hiking, running, walking, game nights, movie nights, listening to Latin music and perfecting my snickerdoodle recipe 🙂
