My name is Ian Ramsey. I am the SVA Athletic Trainer and teach High School Physical Education classes focused on strength training and conditioning. I am originally from Denver, CO, and graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. I love spending time with my family, wandering through art museums, seeing bands at small venues, backpacking in mountains and canyons, and long bike rides and am a competitive 400/800-meter runner.

This is my fourth year at SkyView Academy, and I'm excited for what the new school year brings! I have a fifth grader who attends SkyView and absolutely loves it here. I am from Houston, Texas. I graduated from the University of Houston with a bilingual education degree in 2010. I married my husband Danny shortly after graduation and embarked on a journey across the globe to live and teach in Germany. We had our daughter Alejandra in Dusseldorf and returned after a 2-year stint abroad. We had our son Reno shortly after and moved back to Houston for 2 years. We missed the outdoor life abroad, so we decided Colorado would be a good place to raise a family and be in nature. We were correct! Colorado has been more than good to us; we have been here for 9 years. Since graduating, I worked in Germany as a 4th grade teacher, I worked in Texas as a certified Montessori lower and upper level bilingual teacher and have taught every grade level Pre-k-12 Spanish. I absolutely love working with kids. I have always known teaching was my calling and passion, and I am grateful to be living it out here at SVA.

Originally from Missouri, I spent six wonderful years in England before relocating to Colorado last summer due to my husband’s job. My husband and I are proud parents of three children: our oldest daughter is currently a senior at St. Louis University, Madrid, Spain Campus; our eldest son is in his second year at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland; and our youngest son is a senior at Castle View High School.
I am grateful to be part of the SkyView Academy family. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, taking long walks, spending quality time with my family, and exploring the world through travel.

Hello! I love being a second-grade teacher and have worked at SkyView Academy since 2022. I graduated from Colorado State University in 2022 (GO RAMS!). My family is from Minnesota, so I love hockey! If I'm not playing or coaching hockey, you can probably catch me with my friends or family.

I was a business owner until 2015, when my life took an unexpected U-turn into the world of education. My education career began in an inner-city school in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 2021, I moved to Colorado and started working in Denver Public Schools before I found my work home at SkyView Academy. I have two adult kids and two dogs, but only one husband. I like quality coffee and, according to some SkyView students, am prone to losing my cell phone. If you see an iPhone with a pink case, let me know.

This is my 10th year as the K-5 School Counselor at SkyView, and I can't wait to continue supporting all of the students! I went part-time two years ago, so I am at SkyView on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays to support students.
I am originally from San Diego, California, but I attended Kansas State University (Go Cats!) for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I received my Master of Science in School Counseling in December 2014 and received my two Bachelor of Science degrees in Secondary Education and Dance in December 2012.
My husband brought me to Denver back in 2015, and I have loved living here! We have 2 amazing little boys (4 and 1 years old), and I'm so excited to have my 4-year-old attend SVA Preschool this year.
On the side, for fun, I teach dance at Miller’s Dance Studio and choreograph for their competition team. I have danced since I was 2 years old, and it has been a huge part of my life. I also help people plan and book their Disney vacations as a travel agent. Overall, I love spending time with my family and friends, reading, going to Disney, and watching TV and movies!

As a Colorado Native, my favorite activities revolve around spending time outdoors and with loved ones. I love exploring the mountains, hiking through nature's beauty, and enjoying the tranquility. Hanging out with my family and friends is always a joy, especially when cheering my kids on at their soccer games. I also enjoy golfing, finding peace and challenge on the green, and playing volleyball, which combines fun and fitness. These activities bring balance and happiness to my life.
