Hi! I’m Alicia Brackney. I’ve been teaching in the Denver area since 2016 after marrying a wonderful Denver native who is also a teacher. In January of 2020, I gave birth to Emersyn Joy (EmJ for short), and she is the love of our lives. During this season, I’ve been enjoying playing with EmJ, cooking, and yoga.
As for my education and experience, I have a BA in Psychology and a MA in ELL. During the past decade, I have had the privilege of teaching 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and ELL. I’m very excited to teach 3rd grade again this year. I delight in teaching students this age as they are full of wonder, hugs, and hilarious stories!
