I have worked at SkyView for the past four and a half years. I worked as a special education para for K-5, then taught fourth grade for two years. This is my second year teaching fifth grade. My wife, Patti, also teaches kindergarten at SkyView. I feel very fortunate to be part of a school community with such involved and dedicated staff, parents, and students.

I have been working at SkyView since 2012. I have an amazing husband and two wonderful daughters. We love to travel and explore Colorado together as a family. My oldest daughter will be working in our Preschool this year and my youngest will be in her senior year at DCHS. I love working with the students in the elementary school health office and getting to know them each on an individual basis.
When I am not working I love spending time with my family and friends, gardening, playing with my puppy, reading, baking, trying new restaurants, going to movies, and getting involved in my church.

Hi, I am Taylor Wellette and I am 20 years old. I am currently working on my teaching degree at Arapahoe Community College. I graduated from SkyView in 2019. I love playing volleyball, going on hikes, paddle boarding, photography, iced coffee, plants, working out, and music. If you see me around I am probably on Pinterest getting new ideas on how to improve on something in my life. I look forward to meeting everyone and creating a relationship with you!

Hi, My name is Karlee Wolach and I live in Highlands Ranch and am 27 years old! I love working with young children and watching them grow each and every day. I have worked in a preschool for almost 4 years. I have one older sister and my parents who all live close to me which allows me to spend time with them. I like to go to the swimming pool in the summer as well as visit the mountains in the winter. I also enjoy watching the Colorado Avalanche hockey play. I have been fortunate to attend some Denver Bronco football games as well as some Avalanche games and enjoy seeing them in person.

My name is Kallaway Wood. I am excited to be teaching kindergarten at Skyview and I cannot wait to begin my first year of teaching. I recently graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with a Bachelor of Arts in Inclusive Elementary Education. I have endorsements in Special Education (K-12) and Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Education (K-12). My favorite subject is science, but I love learning and teaching all subjects! I am most passionate about teaching reading and writing in elementary school grades K-2. I love teaching and it is my passion to inspire and share my love for education.

The 2022-2023 school year marks my 30th year in education. John C. Maxwell said, “Students don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” I subscribe to this claim completely. Further, I believe and fully support the vision and mission of SkyView. I serve the community alongside some of the most amazing educators in the field. I am humbled by the opportunity to lead the SkyView community in the role of Head of Schools. My educational journey led me to SkyView in 2012. I graduated from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo in 1992 with a degree in English. I continued my education at Bethany College in Scotts Valley, California in 1994 where I completed graduate school for Educator Licensing in Leadership and Teaching and Curriculum and Instruction. I believe to my core we are educating the future to change the world. As educators, I believe we are called to meet students where they are and develop them holistically. To that end, I am committed to ensuring we prioritize the academic, emotional, social, physical, and mental development of the students in our charge.
