I am a Colorado native and graduated from D'Evelyn High School in 1999. I joined the Marine Corps and served for 4 years on active duty including a combat deployment to Iraq in 2003. Once I got home, I transferred to the Army National Guard and attended college at the University of Northern Colorado. In 2019 I retired from the military after 20 years of service with the rank of Captain. 2022-23 will be my 11th year teaching in the High School at SVA.
