I was born and raised in Colorado. I went to Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where I met my husband, Mike, and began a career as a Kindergarten teacher. I am the mother of three adult children. When my kids were little, I stayed home for many years. I used my sewing skills to start a custom sewing business for interior furnishings. I love my Rez dog, Jayne. As a native, I enjoy hiking and skiing in the mountains. My sweet tooth fuels the baker in me. I also enjoy reading and making things with my hands.

It is an honor to have the opportunity to work with the Leadership team at SVA. I began working at SVA as the Assessment Coordinator, then moved into the Assistant Principal role, and now I am the Lower School Principal. I graduated from Southern Illinois University after having two children, Nicolas and Jenna and then moved out to Colorado. For the past 20 years I have been working at charter schools in the South Metro area, mostly as an Elementary Teacher serving students in grades 3-5, as well as being a literacy specialist for a few years. I believe in the vision and mission here at SkyView and look forward to working with the amazing staff here. I spend my free time with my adult children and granddaughters, traveling to college football games, and hiking and camping during the summer.Â

I am the Payroll and Benefits Manager and have been at SkyView for 10 years. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix and have experience in Corporate, Public, and Tax Accounting. I have 2 wonderful boys who are in college and in my spare time I enjoy running, playing tennis, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.

Hello! I have been teaching at SkyView since 2020 and I am excited for another year! I moved to Colorado in 2020 and I could not have moved to a more beautiful state! I graduated with my degree in elementary education and I am thrilled to be teaching 6th grade literature. I love hiking, cooking and spending time with my family.
