Volunteers play a crucial role in shaping students and teachers lives while enriching their learning experiences. Your contribution, whether a smile, a helping hand, or valuable knowledge, can make a significant difference in the lives of the students, teachers, and staff you engage with. We encourage you to get involved if you're ready to make a difference. Join us in creating a positive and supportive learning environment for our students. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
Families are asked to volunteer at the level of their youngest child at SkyView (see below).
SkyView offers various volunteer opportunities throughout the year. The opportunities vary depending on how much involvement is needed. Some are monthly or seasonal, while others might be focused on one specific event. Click here to learn more about our opportunities and how to sign up.
Families who make financial contributions to the school can also earn volunteer credit. For every $20 worth of value donated to SVA, families can earn one (1) volunteer hour. Please note that not all donations qualify for this program. The Business Office will approve those that meet the criteria. If you are unsure whether a contribution qualifies, you may check with the Business Office.
The Volunteer Coordinator will contact families that do not meet the volunteer program requirements for the school year to discuss how this may be remedied.
