I am from Atlanta, Georgia, and have lived in Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, Costa Rica, and Washington, DC. I graduated from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA with a degree in Spanish language, a concentration in Latin American and Caribbean Studies, and a certificate to teach k-12 in Virginia. I love traveling and learning about new cultures - my favorite travel destination is the Galapagos Islands! When I am not in the classroom, I am hiking, camping, or kayaking with my rescue pup, Sunny.
