SVA Wish Week 2024

Wish Week is almost here! We are so excited to celebrate Cali when we return from Spring Break! Let’s make this one of our best Wish Weeks and help support Make-A-Wish in sending Cali to HAWAII!

Wish Kits and t-shirts have arrived and will be passed out to students on Monday, March 25th. The t-shirts should be worn for our Spirit Day on Friday, March 29th! The bracelets allow your student to participate in the Spirit Days and receive FREE entrance to the hula hoop competition during half-time of the soccer game on Wednesday, March 27th.

Here are some fun ways to help raise money during Wish Week.

Online Giving: 
Get in on the excitement! Join our grade-level competitions online. Support your student's grade directly and help them to defeat the competition!

Urban Air (Park Meadows Location): 
Monday, March 25, 4-8 pm. Urban Air is offering discounted ticket prices for the entire SkyView Community!

Dinner Outings  
Torchy’s Tacos (HR Location) Tuesday, March 26th. *Be sure to mention SVA.
Jimmy John’s (Park Meadows) Thursday, March 28th. *Be sure to mention SVA.

Colorful Hair Extension: 
MS/HS Students can purchase hair extensions for $2 during lunchtime and wear them on Friday.
ES Students can purchase hair extensions for $2 in the morning in Thunderdome or at the front entrance upon arrival and wear them on Friday. 

Penny Wars Grade Level Competition Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday:
ES: Pennies count towards your student’s grades total, and nickels, dimes, and quarters are negative against another grade (so encourage your students to put their “silver” coins in another grade’s container)

K vs. 1st 
2nd vs. 3rd
4th vs. 5th

MS/HS: This year, we will be allowing dollar bills. One dollar will count towards your grade, and higher denominations will be negative against another grade's total. We are encouraging students to use bills over coins this year.

MS/HS: Tug of War on Thursday (must register by Wednesday): 
$100 per team, 10 students per team, $10 a person, only grade-level teams. A Google form will be available for students to sign up starting Tuesday, March 26th.

MS/HS: Bead Day Thursday:
Purchase a string of beads for $1 and play rock paper scissors. The winner of the game takes the other person's necklace of beads. The students with the most beads at the end of the day will have a final showdown during the Tug of War competition.
