SVA On a Delayed Start Thursday, February 23rd

SkyView Academy and DCSD will be on a 90-minute delay today, Thursday, February 23rd, due to forecasted temperatures. 

Please remember the following:

1. The 90 minutes is calculated from the start of the school day. So, PreK and ES will start at 9:50 AM, and MS and HS will start at 9:30 AM.
2. AM BASE will begin at 8:30 AM.
3. PreK and ES will pick up their day’s schedule at 9:50 AM. 
4. MS and HS follow the delayed start schedule. 

As a commuter school, we recognize that various weather conditions will exist for our families. If you deem that your area presents unsafe travel conditions, your absence will be excused per district policy. However, please follow our attendance protocols and notify us of your decision.
