SVA Closed Friday, February 21st

Dear SkyView Families, 

SkyView Academy and the Douglas County School District will be CLOSED on Friday, February 21, due to inclement weather conditions.

We recognize that temperatures will warm up later today. However, Douglas County and Jefferson County received the brunt of this storm. There is currently up to a foot of snow accumulation in some areas of Douglas County, and more snow is expected over the next few hours. This means that even with a delay, we would not be able to get school parking lots cleared in time for the start of school. In addition, road conditions are currently very slick.

As always, in the event of a closure, all DCSD buildings are closed.

• Preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school classes are cancelled
• BASE programs are closed
• All activities, events, sports, and facility rentals are cancelled
