STEMblazers Registration Open

STEMblazers works toward equal representation in the STEM workforce. Douglas County's only chapter of this career-focused student group meets at SkyView Academy on Monday afternoons. The chapter is now open to students from 8th through 12th grade and registration is live.

Membership includes:

  • 2 Chapter meetings per month

  • Guest speakers;

  • Professional women working in STEM industries

  • Interactive hands-on activities

  • Professional mentoring

  • Field trips

  • Job shadow experience

    • Parents are welcome to contribute by donating time or funds to advance our ability to visit more facilities. Check to see if your workplace is a corporate sponsor or reach out to Julia Ferre, jferre@svak12.org for assistance. If you are interested in becoming one. If your student would like to apply for a scholarship to cover your registration fee, please e-mail info@stemblazers.org for an application form.
