I am so excited to be starting my first year at Skyview as the first-grade ISP. I recently moved to Colorado after graduating from Spring Hill College in 2021 in Mobile, Al. When I’m not at school I love taking my dog on hikes and going skiing during the winter.

Hello! I have had the privilege of being at SkyView Academy for the past eight years. This is my 19th year working as a School Social Worker. As a member of an amazing Student Support Team, our goal is to empower students to meet their full potential. Originally an Arizona native, my family and I have lived in Colorado for eight years. When I am not at SVA, I enjoy exploring the beautiful mountains, traveling, and spending time with my family.

I have been working at SkyView since 2018, and each of my three daughters has attended since the doors opened in 2010. It brings me so much joy to get to be the one to shine a light on this place, and the wonderful people here, that have been such a huge part of our lives for so long.
My diversified background ranges from working in education, co-authoring a devotional, co-hosting a radio show, marketing, and more. My unique background has given me the tools to cater to an eclectic variety of people with all sorts of administrative and communication needs.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband, daughters, and friends, entertaining, trying new restaurants, gardening, paddle boarding, seeing movies, and getting involved with my church.

My name is Ian Ramsey. I am the SVA Athletic Trainer and teach High School Physical Education classes focused on strength training and conditioning. I am originally from Denver, CO, and graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. I love spending time with my family, wandering through art museums, seeing bands at small venues, backpacking in mountains and canyons, and long bike rides and am a competitive 400/800-meter runner.

Hello, I am originally from Missouri. My family and I moved from England this summer to Colorado, so all the sunshine is wonderful! I am married with three children. My two older children are both in college. My daughter loved Europe so much that she is studying at St. Louis University's Madrid Campus, and my eldest son just started his plebe year at the Naval Academy. My youngest is 16 and eager to start driving.
I am excited to be part of the Skyview Academy family. When I'm not at work, I love to cook, take long walks, spend time with family and travel the world.

I was a business owner until 2015 when my life took an unexpected U-turn into the world of education. My education career began in an inner-city school in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 2021, I moved to Colorado and started working in Denver Public Schools before I found my work home at SkyView Academy. I have two adult kids, two dogs, but only one husband. I like quality coffee and, according to some SkyView students, am prone to losing my cell phone. If you see an iPhone with a pink case, let me know.

This is my 9th year as the K-5 School Counselor at SkyView, and I can't wait to continue to support all of the students! I am originally from San Diego, California, but I attended Kansas State University (Go Cats!) for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I received my Master of Science in School Counseling in December 2014 and received my two Bachelor of Science degrees in Secondary Education and Dance in December 2012.
My husband brought me to Denver back in 2015, and I have loved living here! We have 2 amazing little boys (3 years old & 3 months old), and I'm so excited to have my 3 year old attending SVA Preschool this year.
On the side, for fun, I teach dance at Miller’s Dance Studio and choreograph for their competition team. I have danced since I was 2 years old and it has been a huge part of my life. I also help people plan and book their Disney vacations as a travel agent. Overall, I love spending time with my family and friends, reading, going to Disney, and watching tv/movies!

I am a mother to two sons who are heavily involved in soccer during the fall and spring seasons. I came to SkyView Academy when it opened its doors in 2010 and I am so excited to be part of the SkyView family! I moved to Colorado in 1997 from Michigan where I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Hillsdale College. I majored in Mathematics, minored in Spanish, and earned a primary teaching certification. I completed my Master’s Degree program in Elementary Education through Grand Canyon University. I’ve taught first, second, and third grade in Core Knowledge charter schools and have been teaching for more than 20 years. I’m so excited for another great year!

John is Chief Sales Officer for UST HealthProof, a global software, and services firm supporting health insurance plan operations. John has been involved in the Colorado charter school community for over 14 years, He is a founding board member of NorthStar Academy Charter School (Parker). He is also a SkyView Academy founder, past board member, and current president of the SVA building corporation. John currently serves as a board member of Academy 360 Charter School which serves early childhood education through fifth-grade students living in the North East Denver community of Montbello. Additionally, he served under appoint by three governors as a board member for the Colorado Department of Education’s Charter School Institute.   John received his BS and MBA from San Jose State University and lived in San Francisco before moving to Denver in 2003. He is a single father to two wonderful children who attended SVA, John jr. who attends CU Boulder, and Emma who attends Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.  In his spare time, John enjoys playing golf, woodworking projects, and finding the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants.
I love my family, husband of many years and two grown daughters, and one new son-in-law. My passions are spending time with family and friends, hiking in the mountains, being outdoors, traveling, and good food. I've taught for many years, German and some history and English Language Development.
