This is my 4th year at SkyView Academy and my 19th year as a teacher. I have taught elementary students English, Reading, and ESL through community college levels. I started at SVA as a member of the English Language Development (ELD) team and then transitioned to the high school English department. I teach Rhetoric and two concurrent enrollment courses (ENG 1021 and Lit 1015) through Arapahoe Community College. I really enjoy working with the students on their Senior Capstone projects - it is so exciting to see how much they accomplish in one year! In my free time, I like hiking with my family and dog.

College/University: I received my BA degree in English from Colorado College and my MA degree in Education from Ohio State University. I received my ESL endorsement from the University of New Mexico.
