Watch Our Garden Grow!

Check out the before and after pictures of our new native pollinator garden that Mrs. Carroll planted! The plants were purchased with grant money from the DCSD Office of Sustainability.

The time has at last come to take this bare and unloved patch of SVA grounds and turn it into our beautiful “Discovery Garden.” We have purchased the plants and designed the garden to be enjoyable and educational for all.  It will include native plants,  pollinator plants, and a sensory section full of aromatic and touchable plants.

We will finish installing the garden with a path and plant markers to identify the different species in the garden. Lastly, we will install bee houses.
Keep watching here for the garden updates!
