One Seat Open for 2023 SVA Board Election

On March 7, 2023, there will be a SkyView Board of Directors Election for one open Board seat. Attached here is a link to the application and other Board Candidacy Documents that should be reviewed prior to nominating yourself for the open Board seat.

Key Dates:

January 17, 2023:Interested Candidate Zoom Call at 6:30 PM.  This will be a time that interested candidates can ask questions to understand further the commitment of serving on the SkyView Board. Click here to join the Zoom meeting on January 17th.
February 3, 2023:All applications, bios, and videos are due.
Mid-February, 2023:Meet the Candidates Night at SkyView. A time for voters to meet the candidates and ask questions. The exact date is TBD.
March 7, 2023:Election.

Important Reminders:

  • Board seats are a 3 Year Term.
  • Candidates must be philosophically aligned with the mission and vision of SVA and value the PK-12 culture of our school.
  • Board candidates are required to attend and observe at least one regular board meeting prior to the election in March. The Board meets on the third Wednesday of most months at 6:00 p.m. in the HS Library at SkyView Academy.  After the election, the winning candidate must attend the March 22, 2023, Board meeting.
