Students who are currently enrolled at SkyView will have a spot reserved for them the upcoming year, unless SkyView receives written notice from a parent/guardian that the child will not be returning. No action is needed to remain at SkyView K-12.
During the first round of DCSD open enrollment (November 1 – December 1), prospective students who have siblings already enrolled at SkyView (K-12) will be given lottery priority. Priority is not given during the second round. If you miss the first round deadline, you will be placed after the first round waitlist in order of when you submit information during second round. During the process, make sure to use your current Parent Portal log in to ensure your child receives sibling priority. When you login to EngagED Parent Portal, you will see your SVA students. If the child you wish to enroll is not on your portal account, please select the “+” button to add this student to the account. This ensures the process is done correctly and sibling priority will be granted through the open enrollment tool.

Intent to Return
Current SVA families complete the Intent to Return in January every year. This notifies the school of your intent for enrollment for the following year. Completing this form allows administration to plan for staff and budget for the upcoming school year.
If your enrollment plans change after you submit your Intent to Return, please notify the Registrar immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Request for Records
Records for the current year can be found by logging in to your Parent Portal account. To request SVA records 1) to be sent to another school 2) for parent pickup 3) to be emailed to parent, please print, complete and sign a Request for Records form and submit to the Registrar. For your convenience, forms can be returned to the green drop box in the school parking lot.
Transcript requests for colleges must go through Naviance. Go to “colleges”, click “transcripts” under resources.
To request an official transcript that is not for a college, send an email to your counselor with the following information:
- Student name
- Date requested
- Date needed by
- Recipient name
- Recipient school/organization/company
- Recipient e-mail, mailing address, or fax number
An unofficial transcript can be accessed via Parent Portal. Go to “Reports” and “SVA HS Transcript”.
Please print, complete, sign and return forms to the front desk of the school. Forms can also be emailed directly to the appropriate staff member. For your convenience, forms can be returned to the green drop box in the school parking lot.
