Charter Renewal Approved

01/26/22

Dear Families,

I am privileged to share with you that the DCSD Board of Education completed the final process for our charter renewal. By a vote of 7 to 0, the DCSD BOE approved SkyView Academy's charter to extend for another five years. The success of our school exists because of the continued commitment to excellence of our faculty and staff. Their continued commitment to providing an exceptional education to our students and our community's continued support sets SkyView apart.

Our test scores, numerous accolades, and awards all confirm our success, to be sure. But our entire community, from our faculty and staff to our families, provides the landscape of our success. The past two years revealed our resilience, dedication, and commitment to not only our students but each other.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support of our staff and faculty and your endurance despite the trials of the past two years. Our community personifies our vision and mission. Let's embrace the next five years stronger than ever and confident in our future.

Honored to Serve You All,

Janet Worley
