SkyView Academy follows a semester system with an 8 period, 5-day week, and a modified block schedule.

0.5 credit is awarded per semester of course completion. Students are expected to complete 40 hours of service in their community or globally per school year.

SkyView Academy is a CHSAA designated 3A school offering the following athletic sports: Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Track & Field and Cross Country.

SkyView Academy seeks to provide a classical education, challenging students to think critically and communicate effectively.
All classes are taught at a rigorous level, but students also have the option to enroll in honors and AP level classes.

SAT SCORES – CLASS OF 2018
Of 71 students tested in 2017 the average mean total score for SVA juniors was 1164, compared to the district average of 1090 and state average of 1015.

AP COURSES
In 2017, 78 students took AP exams in 8 content areas.  72% of students earned a passing score of 3 or higher.  Mean scores for each test are listed below. Admission to AP classes requires teacher approval. SkyView offers the following AP courses:
